B's room.
the Final episode...

B's room BEFORE Picture.
the PINK has to go...

B's Room AFTER
De-cluttered, painted, most PINK stuff gone....

Looks good, right! Horses, now rule this room...

The fabric on the bolster at the foot of her bed, is Joel Dewberry Ginseng fabric.
It's so beautiful.
(p.s. Don't look to close at the curtains, I still need to hem them! after two years!!!) shame on me...

OLD ROOM
I ordered a bolt of the dewberry fabric to cover the two walls with the mural. We don't have the heart to paint it away forever, so we are going to cover it with fabric, so it won't get destroyed.
That's for another day though. I'm exhausted...

This WAS the quilt on her bed. I found it in an antique shop for $20.
It's so washed and loved, It's amazing. Simple & Simply beautiful.

And Fabulous hand stitching in the PINK borders....
So I guess it's mine again!

  1. The walls look great..you did a really good job. And I know that mural is someone's art, so that's good you aren't painting over it.. but it definiltey needs to be something else!
    Do you hand quilt?
That done on the pink border is fabulous. Tiny little stitches.
:-) And the center piece with the teal, pink, gray and tan.. LOVE that.

  5. Thanks for stopping by my blog. :-) I laughed when I read that you hadn't hemmed the curtains. I did that once in my daughter's room. Took me two years to hem them and then she was in college and had her own place so I changed the look of the room and made new curtains that I liked better. :-)
