Us, freezing our tootsies off... ;-)
The night was cold, but we had a nice dinner out, and walked home from Rockefeller Center, down 5th avenue to the Big Library, and through Bryant park...
By the time we got home, trying to stay warm with one cup of apple cider,
we realized, B's cheeks were VERY flushed, her ears were swollen, and eyes all puffy...
then we realized she had a reaction for something she ate!
After many tears, a run back out to the drugstore for benadryl, she is now asleep and resting fine.
She's never had a food allergy, so it was quite a surprise! She ate shrimp, tuna, and soy, (we love sushi) She eats these things all the time, and often. I'm guessing it might be the shrimp...
Anyone had similar things happen?
Gotta call the doc, in the a.m.

Goodness! I hope that she's alright. But to be allergic to sushi - Horrors! Poor girl.
ReplyDelete... Monosodium Glutamate? Asian cooking often relies on that stuff.
