But, of course, some things have to be pieced on machine, and there are too many things I want to do, which just can't be done by hand. All 25 blocks have been outline stitched and I've started on some border appliqued. I have about 1/2 of the 3/4" grid work done in the center. Started the hand quilting on this baby Jan 1, 2013. What needle do you use? I find it hard to thread that thread.
