1-1-11

Intuition Top nearly done...
Perhaps one more row to go around it,  to complete the thought....
This has been a fun project.
I used up as much of my scrap bin fabrics as possible.
Nothing was cut from yardage... All the fabrics were stuffed into 5 bins of scraps....

To think it all started with three red plaid squares...

See where a little inspiration will take you?

Now, having stayed up til midnight,
to watch the ball drop in our back yard (times square),

I think I need to crawl under this,  and take a snooze...

It's bright and SUNNY and WARM out today...
Our poor cute SNOW Dog has gone on to become a WATER (puddle) dog...
Snow be gone!

Happy 1-1-11!!

  2. I love the name you gave this quilt! And I love bright, warm colors you put together. Such a cool method for making a quilt, to think you started with three plaid squares. You're always so inspiring - I would love to try this in the new year!

  9. I am so drawn to the sunny yellow in that quilt. It's the perfect antidote to the dreary sky today and the end of Christmas doldrums.

  16. It seems your day is 48 hours long. You get so much done within a short period of time!

The quilt looks great and I´m glad the snow dog is gone. Sounds like the heavy snow storm is giving you a break.
